Can fans get chords or tabs for the songs?

At this time, we are not releasing official sheet music or note-for-note guitar tabs for the Cowboy Cadence archive. I have a free sample of one here.

Because our music is built on an Artist-Led Decision Chain, many of the arrangements were forged in the moment during our original sessions between 1985 and 1995. While the lyrics and compositions are my own, the specific 'voicing' of the instruments involved the unique contributions of the original five members. Out of respect for the estates of those members and the integrity of our 'Contemporary Folk' sound, I have chosen to keep the specific technical arrangements within the private archive for now.

However, I encourage any fellow musicians to 'learn by ear' as they listen to the 24-bit restorations. Part of the spirit of independent folk and western swing is the personal interpretation of the song. If you find a way to play a Cowboy Cadence track that resonates with you, you are honoring the tradition we started on the ranch forty years ago.
