Cowboy Cadence Music is a modern Western-inspired music project based on a very special creative base: a collection of original songs written between 1985 and 1995 that are now reimagined with today's production and recording techniques. Mixing the timeless essence of classic country storytelling with the clarity and depth of modern studio craftsmanship, Cowboy Cadence Music makes recordings that feel really authentic, almost like they were made for film, and deeply human.
Based on songwriting contributions from Bruce Jahn, Kelly Trevelyan, Bill Fortescue, and Sally Fortescue, our project respects the emotional heart of the original sessions while making each piece come alive with some final touches on the arrangement, modern production, and all-new performed tracks. The end result is a sound that moves quite smoothly between country, Americana, folk, outlaw country, children's music, instrumental Western music, and the project's own innovative touch: Electroo-Country—a one-of-a-kind fusion of rural storytelling, old analog synthesizers, and early trap-inspired rhythms that arrived way ahead of its time in 1995.
