About us

Cowboy Cadence Music is a creative project focused on saving and bringing back a whole bunch of original songs that were written way back during the late 80's and early 90's. Based on country, folk, and those super early electro-country sounds (officially known as country pop or urban cowboy), these songs show what life was like when music was really made independently—focusing on the story, the melody, and the heartfelt performance itself.

Original material came together through collaboration back then—with songwriting contributions that helped create the identity and sound of Cowboy Cadence itself. Nowadays, those compositions are shown off via new, produced recordings made using all the latest production tools yet still staying true to the spirit and structure of those original pieces (for the memories of Bill, Kelly, and Sally).

These current releases are newly made master recordings themselves. Not the actual original archival recordings but rather modern interpretations that'll give the music much more clarity, depth, and consistency for today's listeners. The aim is to bridge that gap between the very first creative idea and what we hear today in terms of sound quality.

Cowboy Cadence Music exists so as to pay homage to the songwriting itself, hold onto the legacy of this material, and share it out to an entirely new audience in a format that's perfectly in line with the latest listening trends. From wedding performances done live style to thematically driven instrumental collections, the project continues exploring many different ways the original songs could go while always holding onto their core identity itself
